Harry Jonathan Everett, 67, retired businessman, died suddenly Saturday eveing at his home, 603 S. Green ST., He was stricken while watching television. Born July 30, 1893 in Crawfordsville, Mr. Everett was the son of Jonathan and Lida Simms Everett. He married Annuncietta Kelly in 1922. Except for a few years spent in Lafayette where he was in the clothing business, Mr. Everett has always made his home in Crawfordsville. During his early life he worked at the Murphy Clothing store and the McClamroch shoe store in this city. prior to his retirement a few years ago he operated a food market on East Wabash Avenue. Mr. Everett was a vetern of World War 1 and a fourty year member of the American Legion. He was also a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Survivors include the widow and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 9 a. m. Tuesday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Rev, Henry F. Ward, pastor, officiated. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. Military rites were conducted at the graveside by Byron Cox Post of the Legion. - kbz
